Undercarriage Parts for Excavators and Dozers

Undercarriage is one of the biggest running costs on any tracked machine, and one of the easiest to get wrong. Replace too early and you have thrown away good component life. Leave it too long and the sprocket takes the chain with it. We supply undercarriage parts for machines working across mining and construction.

Reading Undercarriage Wear

A track that sags and needs adjusting more often than it used to is telling you the pins and bushes have worn and the chain has stretched. If it starts coming off on turns, that is usually the same thing, though a worn idler or a bent frame will do it too.

Look at the sprocket teeth. When they go from square to pointed or hooked, they are not just worn — they are accelerating wear on the chain. Rollers leaking oil or seized up need doing before they flat-spot and start chewing the rail.

When to Replace and When to Turn

Measuring wear properly at service costs almost nothing and tells you whether a bushing turn will buy another few thousand hours. Send us your measurements and we will tell you what needs doing now and what can safely wait.
