Signs Your Track Frames Need Attention
Cracking around the roller mounts and welds is the one to look for, and it is usually visible if someone gets underneath with a torch.
A track that wanders or derails repeatedly after tension has been set correctly points at frame alignment rather than the track itself.
Uneven roller wear across the frame tells the same story.
Also check whether the adjuster is holding tension, whether the recoil spring has seized, and whether there is excessive movement in the idler slide.
